Product Manager – Web Solutions

Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced product development team. The Debt Exchange is searching for a Product Manager to captain our secure document management / deal management CRM web solutions. The Product manager will be responsible for planning and scheduling all phases of the product’s lifecycle. They will need to develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products’ markets and apply tactical and strategic planning. The Product Manager will lead cross-functional teams to launch new processes and add value to the customer experience. This candidate will need to have the standard litany of product management skills (3+ years). The Product Manager will interact closely with the CTO, software development team, offshore quality assurance team, senior business stakeholders and customers.

Skills:

  • 3+ years of business analyst/product and project management experience
  • Strong Analytical skills with the ability to dissect quantitative and qualitative information
  • Practical understanding of the software development lifecycle and project management practices
  • Requirements analysis including strong user interface design skills for creating mock-ups in Paint Shop Pro, Visio or other software
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented and highly organized
  • Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Interface with business sponsors to elicit, define, validate and document business requirements. Create requirements documents including process flow diagrams and mock-ups
  • Analyze, recommend and implement software development process improvements to continuously improve the product development process
  • Work with offshore QA to review and validate manual and automated functional test plans
  • Provide business subject matter expertise in support of development activities
  • Help ensure on-time delivery of projects and manage change control process if delays occur

Systems Administrator

Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join the DebtX team. The ideal candidate is self-directed and requires minimal supervision with good verbal and written language skills. Other requirements are a proven ability to solve complex problems using methodology and logic and an expert in advanced networking concepts (subnets, firewalls, VPNs, DNS).

Not required but a definite plus is CCNA, MCSA, MCITP: Enterprise Messaging Administrator, or MCITP: Server Administrator certification.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of seven (7) years experience in System/Network Administration.
  • Ability to solve problems when there are no available precedents, guidelines or policies by drawing upon experience, research, input from peers and other problem-solving alternatives.
  • Ability to recommend hardware for requests that come in from the business units.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement in IT systems reliability and efficiency.
  • Excellent documentation and presentation skills.
  • Proven organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

DebtX maintains a 24x7 support environment for its core IT services. To minimize system down time, the position requires some afterhours work for server upgrades/repairs and emergency after hours support as well as a rotating on call schedule.
